Remy "The flying Gentleman" Bonjasky gives a seminar to the Amsterdam Police Force
Only 15 days to count down for the most exciting martial arts showdown at another K-1 Grand Prix final.
This year it will be the 16th edition of the K-1 final and it's line up shows that it will be a stage of yet another spectacular event where at the
end another warrior will be crowned as a K-1 king.
Remy "The Flying gentleman" Bonjasky who is currently in his best shape will be facing the French K-1 heavy hitter Jerome Le Banner.
Remy is preparing himself to the fullest so when the curtains of the k-1 stage are lifted "The Flying Gentleman" can once again be crowned as the true K1 Champion!
Between Bonjasky's busy training schedule which now is set for 6 training days a week Remy arranged some time to give a demonstration to the Amsterdam Police Force,
their friends, relatives, childeren and spouses.
The demonstration was intentioned to introduce policeman to the Martial arts and make them more enthusiastic for it,
so when policeman practice their job on the street they would feel more secure and safe. Also Martial Arts could be helpful for policeman when they have to defend themselves
, when apprehending a suspect.
During the seminar Remy showed his skills in three rounds of three minutes, executing his techniques on the paths. Between the rounds
" The Gentleman" answered questions from the ring announcer.
One of the questions asked by the ring announcer was what a policeman should do when facing a tall strong man from approximately 2 meters.
Remy calmly told the audience that the policeman should ask for backup from their colleagues. Seemingly surprised by this answer the audience gave Remy a big applause.
The demonstration was very inspiring for the audience as well as it was for Remy, who is always highly enthusiastic to give seminars and demonstrations, especially
demo's with a purpose like this one.
The seminar also included many other forms of martial Arts such as karate and self defending tactics. At the end of the evening the SWAT
team also demonstrated their skills with a big bang by apprehending a character who stirred up a riot.
